Who you are
You have a proven track record in sales, ideally within the restaurant or hospitality industry, and understand the nuances of consultative selling. Your ability to build strong relationships with clients is paramount — you thrive on understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions. You are comfortable conducting product demos and engaging with customers both virtually and in person, ensuring a seamless transition from sales to implementation.
You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to articulate complex solutions in a clear and compelling manner. Your consultative approach enables you to identify operational gaps and recommend technology that enhances in-store experiences. You are proactive in prospecting new business opportunities and have a knack for closing deals that drive growth.
What you'll do
As an Account Executive at DoorDash, you will own the full sales cycle for selling In-Store solutions to restaurants and hospitality groups. You will work directly with operators to understand their business needs, run consultative discovery sessions, and recommend solutions that improve guest engagement and operational efficiency. Your role will involve prospecting and closing new business, conducting live product demonstrations, and engaging with customers both virtually and in person.
You will collaborate closely with onboarding and customer success teams to ensure a smooth transition from sales to launch, fostering long-term relationships with clients. Reporting to a Sales Manager, you will also work cross-functionally with Sales Development to drive new business growth while supporting the long-term success of your partners. Your contributions will be critical in helping operators take control of their guest relationships and streamline their in-store experiences.
