Who you are
You have experience in account management or customer success, ideally within the SMB sector, and understand the importance of building long-term relationships with clients. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy engaging with a high volume of merchants, using data to drive your decisions and improve their performance. You are comfortable with outbound communication, whether through calls or emails, and can effectively guide clients on how to maximize their visibility and revenue on the platform. You are results-oriented and have a track record of meeting KPIs related to client engagement and satisfaction.
Desirable
Experience in the food delivery or restaurant industry is a plus, as is familiarity with data analytics tools that can help you track performance metrics. You are adaptable and willing to travel as needed to meet with clients and strengthen relationships.
What you'll do
As a Merchant Success Manager at DoorDash, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of approximately 500 restaurant partners. Your primary goal will be to ensure their satisfaction and success on the DoorDash platform. You will conduct regular outreach to these merchants, providing them with insights and strategies to enhance their listings and adopt new DoorDash products. You will analyze performance data to identify opportunities for improvement and guide merchants in implementing changes that can lead to increased revenue. You will also be accountable for achieving weekly and quarterly KPIs, which will include metrics related to your outreach efforts and the overall success of your merchants.
You will collaborate closely with other teams within DoorDash to ensure that merchants receive the support they need. This may involve coordinating with marketing to promote new features or working with product teams to relay merchant feedback. Your role will be pivotal in championing small business success and ensuring that DoorDash remains a valuable partner for its restaurant clients.
