Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in electrical engineering with a focus on power systems, RF, and embedded digital design. With at least 5 years of experience, you have a passion for building and shipping reliable hardware, thriving in environments that demand technical depth and high-quality execution. You are excited about the opportunity to work on innovative automation and robotics solutions that enhance last-mile logistics. Your expertise includes architecting and implementing electrical subsystems, including power systems such as batteries and DC/DC converters, as well as motion control systems involving motor drivers and sensors. You are familiar with digital and mixed-signal board design, working with microcontrollers and FPGAs.
Desirable
Experience with unmanned platforms and a strong understanding of EMI/EMC-conscious layout and integration will set you apart. You are a collaborative team player who enjoys working in a multidisciplinary environment and is eager to contribute to the full lifecycle of electrical hardware from concept to production.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for developing mission-critical electrical systems for unmanned platforms. You will architect and implement electrical subsystems, focusing on power systems, motion control, and RF systems. You will own the full lifecycle of electrical hardware, from concept and schematic capture to layout review and bring-up. Your work will directly impact the efficiency of DoorDash's logistics operations, as you contribute to the development of innovative technologies that support and augment human networks. You will collaborate with a highly senior team composed of experts from various robotics industries, ensuring that the solutions you develop are not only reliable but also scalable.
