Who you are
You have a strong background in electrical or electronic design, with a deep expertise in system-level design — your experience allows you to navigate complex hardware systems and contribute effectively to AI supercomputer projects. You thrive at the intersection of cutting-edge deep learning and hardware design, and you're excited about optimizing hardware for data center applications.
You possess a solid understanding of machine learning and AI hardware systems, having worked on projects that involve ASIC and FPGA technologies — your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams ensures that you can drive AI hardware system design effectively. You are detail-oriented and have a knack for evaluating end-to-end system design trade-offs, which is crucial for this role.
What you'll do
As an Electrical Engineer on the Scaling team, you will be responsible for designing AI supercomputer solutions tailored for data center applications — your work will involve workload modeling and influencing accelerator design to optimize performance. You will collaborate with partners to ensure that their hardware aligns with our workloads, identifying promising new deep learning accelerators and bringing these platforms to production.
You will lead circuit-level design efforts, working closely with power, thermal, and mechanical teams to drive the overall design of AI hardware systems — your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our data center deployments. Additionally, you will engage with product teams to ensure that project goals are met, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and excellence.
