This role requires significant experience in product management and cross-functional collaboration.

Job Description

Who you are

You have extensive experience in product management, ideally with a focus on user engagement and growth strategies. Your background includes defining product vision and executing on complex initiatives that require collaboration across multiple teams. You understand the importance of metrics and experimentation in driving product success, and you have a track record of optimizing user experiences to enhance sharing and virality. You are comfortable navigating the challenges of permissions and access control, ensuring that user experiences are both intuitive and secure. You thrive in environments where you can influence product direction and have substantial ownership over high-visibility projects. Your ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams is a key strength, allowing you to advocate for user needs while balancing business objectives.

Desirable

Experience in trust and safety domains or designing virality loops in large-scale products would be a plus. You are familiar with the nuances of managing complex user journeys and have a keen eye for detail when it comes to user experience design. Your ability to lead long-running initiatives with significant dependencies showcases your project management skills and your capacity to drive results over time.

What you'll do

In this role, you will define and evangelize the long-term product vision and strategy for Dropbox’s sharing and virality experiences. You will own the end-to-end sharing experience, which includes managing the user experience for sharing, access management, and receiver interactions across web, mobile, and desktop platforms. Your responsibilities will involve simplifying complex sharing flows and ensuring that users have intuitive experiences while also providing advanced capabilities when needed. You will plan and forecast multi-quarter initiatives, measuring the effectiveness of sharing and virality through rigorous metrics and experimentation. Driving cross-functional execution across multiple teams will be essential, as you evaluate product and business tradeoffs to deliver meaningful customer and company value. You will play a critical role in shaping how millions of users collaborate and share content, directly influencing Dropbox’s growth, retention, and revenue.

What we offer

Dropbox offers a competitive compensation package, with salaries ranging from $236,300 to $319,700 depending on your location within the US. You will have the opportunity to work remotely, providing flexibility in your work environment. The company culture emphasizes collaboration and innovation, allowing you to solve deeply complex problems at scale while delivering user experiences that are trusted and loved. You will receive substantial exposure to senior leadership and have significant ownership over a high-visibility product area, making a direct impact on the company's success.
