Who you are
You are an experienced in-house attorney with a strong background in commercial law, particularly in procurement. With a client-first mindset, you thrive in supporting business goals while navigating complex legal landscapes. You have a proven track record of drafting, reviewing, and negotiating high-volume commercial contracts, and you enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive efficiencies. Your empathetic approach allows you to mentor others while being a team player in a fast-paced environment.
You have experience implementing new procurement tooling and processes, demonstrating your ability to innovate and leverage technology effectively. Your expertise extends to handling various commercial matters, including customer-facing agreements and M&A integration. You are passionate about solving legal, technology, and business issues, and you understand the importance of aligning legal strategies with business objectives.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be a key member of Dropbox's global commercial legal team, focusing primarily on procurement-related deals and processes. You will partner closely with procurement, finance, product, and other business teams to deliver scalable approaches to commercial matters. Your responsibilities will include drafting and negotiating complex contracts with Dropbox's business partners, vendors, and customers worldwide. You will also play a crucial role in supporting the company's global procurement strategy and ensuring compliance with legal standards.
You will lead initiatives to improve procurement processes, driving efficiencies and empowering self-service capabilities within procurement teams. Your ability to handle multiple types of cross-functional commercial matters will be essential as you navigate customer-facing agreements and support M&A activities. You will work collaboratively with various stakeholders to ensure that legal considerations are integrated into business strategies effectively.
What we offer
Dropbox offers a competitive compensation package, with a salary range of $201,000 to $272,000 CAD. You will have the opportunity to work remotely from Canada, allowing for flexibility in your work environment.
