Who you are
You are an experienced in-house attorney with a strong background in commercial law, particularly in procurement. You have a client-first mindset and thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with procurement teams to innovate and leverage technology for efficiency. Your ability to handle complex commercial contracts and relationships is well-established, and you are passionate about supporting business goals through legal expertise.
You possess strong interpersonal skills, allowing you to effectively partner with various business teams, including finance and product. Your empathetic approach enables you to mentor others while also being a team player. You are adept at navigating the intricacies of commercial agreements and have a proven track record of managing multiple cross-functional matters, including customer-facing agreements and M&A integration.
Desirable
Experience in a fast-paced tech environment is a plus, as is familiarity with legal technology tools that enhance procurement processes. You are comfortable with ambiguity and can adapt to changing business needs while maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality legal support.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be a key member of Dropbox's global commercial legal team, focusing primarily on procurement-related deals and processes. You will draft, review, and negotiate a high volume of complex commercial contracts with Dropbox's business partners, vendors, and customers worldwide. Your leadership will help shape Dropbox's global procurement strategy, ensuring that legal considerations are integrated into business decisions.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient and scalable approaches to commercial matters. This includes working closely with procurement, finance, and product teams to drive efficiencies and empower self-service capabilities within procurement. Your role will also involve mentoring junior attorneys and providing guidance on best practices in commercial law.
What we offer
Dropbox offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $220,000 to $297,600 for Zone 2 and $195,500 to $264,500 for Zone 3. You will have the opportunity to work remotely, allowing for flexibility in your work environment. As part of a dynamic legal team, you will contribute to impactful projects that support Dropbox's business goals while fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
