Who you are
You have a proven track record in field sales, ideally within the education sector, and understand the unique challenges faced by K-12 institutions. Your ability to build relationships and influence decision-makers is key to your success. You thrive in a high-growth environment and are motivated by achieving revenue goals while making a positive impact on education. You are comfortable with travel, as this role requires up to 50% travel to meet with clients across your territory.
You possess strong organizational skills, allowing you to manage multiple accounts effectively while maintaining a clean and accurate sales pipeline. Your strategic outreach efforts lead to consistent meetings and new business opportunities, demonstrating your proactive approach to sales. You are data-driven, using metrics to inform your strategies and improve your performance.
What you'll do
As an Account Executive at Edia, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring new customers and expanding existing accounts. You will manage a portfolio of 100 target accounts, focusing on net new logo acquisition and maintaining a healthy pipeline of opportunities. Your goal is to achieve $250K in closed-won revenue per quarter while generating $800K in new pipeline.
You will engage in high-activity outreach efforts, resulting in at least two new meetings per week and a total of five meetings weekly. Your role will involve collaborating with internal teams to ensure that the solutions offered align with the needs of school districts. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of your sales activities and opportunities in the CRM system.
