Job Description
Who you are
You have over 7 years of experience as an Enterprise Business Development Representative, ideally in high-growth environments. You possess a strong understanding of outbound sales strategies and know how to break into complex accounts while building credibility with executives. Your track record includes generating high-quality Sales Qualified Meetings (SQLs) and creating a real pipeline rather than just activity. You are not only a top-performing individual contributor but also have experience managing and mentoring teams, helping to scale outbound efforts effectively.
You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with Sales and Marketing to develop repeatable enterprise pipeline generation strategies. Your ability to define target accounts and develop entry strategies across buying committees sets you apart. You are skilled in driving prospects from cold outreach through qualification to booked SQLs, ensuring a seamless handoff to Account Executives for pipeline conversion.
What you'll do
In this role, you will own the outbound prospecting efforts, defining a set of target enterprise accounts and developing strategies to engage with them. You will lead a team of Business Development Representatives, managing their performance through weekly coaching and pipeline reviews. Your focus will be on ensuring consistent SQL quality and messaging discipline across the team. You will also play a key role in recruiting, onboarding, and ramping future BDR hires, building scalable systems and best practices that contribute to the growth of Ema's outbound engine.
You will partner closely with Account Executives to ensure a strong handoff and conversion of leads into the sales pipeline. Your leadership will be crucial in developing a high-performing team that excels in generating enterprise-level opportunities. You will have the opportunity to shape the outbound strategy from the ground up, working on one of the most strategic enterprise AI platforms in the market.
