Who you are

You have 3 to 5 years of experience as an Automation Test Engineer, demonstrating a solid understanding of quality assurance processes and methodologies. Your expertise in Selenium and Java allows you to design and execute comprehensive test cases that ensure software quality and functionality. You are familiar with manual testing practices and have a good grasp of JavaScript, which is beneficial for enhancing automation scripts.

You possess strong analytical skills, enabling you to identify defects and issues effectively during testing. Your attention to detail ensures that all aspects of the application are thoroughly tested, and you are adept at documenting and reporting defects with clarity. You enjoy collaborating with product managers and developers to understand product requirements and contribute to the overall testing strategy.

Desirable

Experience with Puppeteer is a plus, as it complements your existing skill set in automation testing. You are open to learning new tools and technologies that can enhance your testing capabilities and improve the quality of the software.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for developing detailed test plans based on project requirements and product specifications. You will define testing strategies for functional, non-functional, and regression testing, ensuring comprehensive test coverage. Your collaboration with product managers and developers will help establish testing milestones and timelines, aligning with project goals.

You will create detailed and clear test cases for various types of testing, including functional, integration, system, regression, and performance testing. Executing these test cases, you will identify defects and track results using test management tools. Your role will also involve performing manual testing alongside automated testing to validate that the product meets quality standards.

As part of your responsibilities, you will identify, document, and report defects found during testing, providing detailed steps to reproduce issues and assessing their severity and impact. You will work closely with developers to verify bug fixes and retest applications once defects are resolved, maintaining a defect tracking system to ensure all issues are classified and prioritized appropriately.
