Your expertise in Java and Spring Boot allows you to create high-performance applications that meet business requirements effectively. You have a proven track record of mentoring and leading engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.

You are skilled in collaborating with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to define and deliver high-quality solutions. Your problem-solving abilities enable you to refine business requirements and translate them into actionable development tasks. You stay updated with emerging technologies and are eager to recommend their adoption to enhance team performance.

You understand the importance of coding standards and best practices in software engineering, and you actively promote these within your team. Your experience with third-party APIs, including REST, SOAP, and gRPC, equips you to create APIs for consumption over HTTP efficiently. You are comfortable working in an Agile environment, managing project timelines, priorities, and deliverables.

Desirable

Experience with performance tuning and optimization is a plus, as is familiarity with event-driven architectures and messaging systems like Kafka and RabbitMQ. What you'll do

As an Engineering Manager at Emids, you will lead and mentor a team of full-stack engineers, guiding them through the software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance. You will design and architect scalable solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices, ensuring that applications are performant, secure, and maintainable.

You will collaborate closely with product managers and designers to define project scopes and deliverables, ensuring that the final products meet user needs and business goals. Your role will involve implementing best practices in software engineering, including coding standards, design patterns, and DevOps principles, to enhance the quality and efficiency of the development process.

You will also be responsible for managing project timelines and priorities, ensuring that your team meets deadlines while maintaining high standards of code quality. Your leadership will foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team members to innovate and adopt new technologies that can benefit the organization.
