Overview
Enviva is hiring a Receiving Area Trainer to deliver on-the-job training and ensure consistent training practices. This role requires expertise in operational processes and the ability to support onboarding and development.
Job Description
Who you are
You have experience in training and operational roles, serving as a subject matter expert in your area. You understand the importance of delivering structured on-the-job training and validating employee certifications to ensure a skilled workforce. You are proactive in identifying areas for process improvements and waste reduction, making recommendations to enhance efficiency. You are comfortable with travel and cross-site support, ready to assist wherever needed.
What you'll do
In this role, you will perform the duties of the receiving role while flexibly adapting your training responsibilities to meet operational needs. You will deliver structured on-the-job training using certification cards and operating procedures, ensuring that employees are proficient before certification sign-off. You will support the onboarding of new employees from day one, tracking their progress and milestones within their process island. Additionally, you will review and update standard work procedures as necessary, contributing to special projects and acting as a backup for the operations supervisor.
