Esper is hiring a Sales Development Representative to drive top-of-funnel pipeline growth through prospecting and lead generation. You'll engage with government decision-makers and schedule product demonstrations. This position is based in Austin, Texas.

You are a highly motivated individual with a strong desire to succeed in sales, particularly within the public sector technology space. You have a knack for engaging with decision-makers and can effectively communicate the value of products to potential clients. Your results-driven mindset pushes you to achieve and exceed targets, and you thrive in a collaborative environment where you support Account Executives in their efforts.
You possess a quick learning ability, allowing you to develop a thorough understanding of Esper's products and how they address key challenges in government policymaking and operations. You are comfortable executing outreach campaigns and maintaining a high volume of prospecting calls, demonstrating your commitment to driving business growth.
What you'll do
In this role, you will support 1-2 Account Executives by prospecting and scheduling product demonstrations. You will identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned prospect lists and expand into ancillary jurisdiction types. Your daily activities will include executing outreach campaigns and maintaining a high volume of daily prospecting calls, ensuring that you generate qualified opportunities for the sales team. You will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop new business opportunities and contribute to the overall growth of Esper.
