You have a strong background in State and Local Government, coupled with a passion for applying geospatial technology to solve real-world challenges. Your customer-oriented approach makes you a collaborative team player who thrives on building relationships and understanding the needs of government organizations. You are skilled in identifying and implementing strategies that can radically improve the challenges faced by these organizations daily.
You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to articulate the relevance of GIS technology to stakeholders effectively. Your ability to understand customer budgeting and acquisition processes enables you to navigate complex organizational structures and identify key business drivers. You are proactive in leveraging social media and other avenues to expand your professional network and maintain a healthy pipeline of business growth opportunities.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with new and existing State and Local government customers. You will prospect, develop, and implement location strategies that align with the needs of these organizations. Your role will involve participating in trade shows, workshops, and seminars to present Esri's solutions and engage with potential clients.
You will demonstrate industry knowledge and its relevance to the application of GIS, ensuring that you understand the specific challenges faced by your customers. By using solution selling skills, you will identify the needs and business challenges of your customers, helping them optimize and expand their adoption of Esri technology. Your efforts will contribute to the overall success of the State and Local Government team, as you work collaboratively to deliver on the mission of supporting government organizations.
