You have a strong background in GIS applications and mobile development — your experience includes driving the development and testing of new capabilities in mobile and web apps, such as Field Maps and Navigator. You thrive in agile work environments and are passionate about shaping and delivering capabilities to customers. Your collaborative nature allows you to work effectively with prospective users and clients to understand their needs and translate them into product requirements.

You are skilled at writing and reviewing test plans to assess product quality and release readiness — your analytical skills enable you to provide in-depth analysis for complex product issues and propose effective solutions. You are an advocate for the customer, representing their workflows in product design and delivery, and you understand the importance of identifying and mitigating risks associated with product development.

What you'll do

In this role, you will drive the development and testing of new capabilities in mobile and web applications, collaborating closely with product teams across ArcGIS to influence upcoming development. You will help translate product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements, including user stories and acceptance test criteria. Your role will involve writing and presenting conceptual topics, blog articles, and step-by-step tutorials geared towards GIS, enhancing the user experience and knowledge base.

You will be responsible for assessing product quality and release readiness through comprehensive testing and analysis. Your ability to identify technical challenges and dependencies will be crucial in ensuring smooth product development. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the product meets customer needs and expectations, ultimately contributing to the mission of making a difference through purposeful and intuitive mobile solutions.
