You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in acquiring new customers and driving revenue growth. With a self-starting attitude, you excel at creating and managing a large pipeline of business in a short timeframe. You are a business athlete — aggressive, nimble, and intelligent — with the ability to close both complex enterprise and transactional deals. You thrive in a team-first culture and value diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

You possess excellent networking skills, enabling you to generate business opportunities through professional connections and cold-calling. Your ability to drive brand awareness and lead generation through various channels is a key strength. You are results-oriented, consistently meeting and exceeding quarterly and annual sales quotas.

Desirable

Experience in the cloud contact center software industry or a related field would be beneficial. Familiarity with sales strategies and techniques that resonate in the mid-market segment is a plus. You are comfortable presenting business plans and strategies during quarterly review sessions, showcasing your ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.

What you'll do

As the Mid-Market Sales Director at Five9, you will be responsible for creating and driving revenue within a specified region or list of named accounts. You will generate business opportunities through professional networking and cold-calling, ensuring a steady flow of leads. Your role will involve driving brand awareness and lead generation through various campaigns and networking associations.

You will own the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closure, developing a comprehensive business plan that aligns with Five9's goals. Meeting and exceeding sales quotas will be a primary focus, and you will be expected to maintain detailed accounts and opportunities throughout the sales process.

Collaboration with other team members will be essential as you work towards common goals. You will participate in quarterly review sessions, presenting your business plan and progress to the team. Your contributions will help shape the sales strategy and drive the overall success of Five9 in the mid-market segment.
