Your analytical skills allow you to troubleshoot complex issues and optimize performance across various platforms. Desirable

Experience with data lake technologies such as Iceberg, Delta Lake, and Parquet is a plus. Familiarity with Kubernetes and Grafana will enhance your ability to manage and monitor large-scale systems effectively. You are open to learning new technologies and adapting to the evolving landscape of data engineering.

What you'll do

In this role, you will partner closely with product teams to understand requirements and design innovative capabilities that enhance the customer experience. You will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and operation of highly reliable large-scale data lake systems. Collaborating with a dedicated engineering team, you will contribute to the technical architecture of Fivetran’s Managed Data Lake product offering.

You will embrace Fivetran's innovations by leveraging open-source standards and toolsets, ensuring that the solutions you build are not only effective but also aligned with industry best practices. Your work will involve analyzing fault-tolerance and high availability issues, as well as performance optimization to ensure that the systems you develop can handle the demands of thousands of companies.
