Flex is seeking a Director of Analytics Engineering to lead the development of a world-class analytics platform. You'll manage a team of Analytics Engineers and collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver impactful data products. This role requires strong leadership and technical skills in data modeling.

You have a proven track record of leading analytics engineering teams, with experience in developing data modeling platforms that drive business decisions. Your background includes hands-on technical skills that allow you to build data products and solutions effectively. You excel in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and analysts, to define requirements and deliver impactful data solutions. You are passionate about empowering stakeholders with the data they need to make informed decisions and are committed to fostering a high-performing team culture.
Desirable
Experience in the FinTech industry is a plus, as is familiarity with modern data technologies and analytics tools. You understand the importance of data governance and quality, and you are adept at mentoring and developing talent within your team. You are comfortable navigating the complexities of a growth-stage company and are excited about the opportunity to shape the analytics strategy at Flex.
What you'll do
As the Director of Analytics Engineering, you will be responsible for developing and leading the strategy for the analytics platform at Flex. You will manage and mentor a team of Analytics Engineers, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to succeed. Your role will involve collaborating with leaders across product and engineering to align analytics initiatives with business objectives. You will also be hands-on in developing data models and building better data products that enhance decision-making across the organization.
You will define the team roadmap and prioritize projects that deliver the most value to stakeholders. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the analytics team. You will work closely with analysts to understand their needs and translate them into actionable data solutions. Additionally, you will be accountable for the quality and reliability of the data products delivered by your team, ensuring they meet the highest standards.
