You have a strong background in partnerships and business development, ideally within the gaming or entertainment sectors — your experience has equipped you with the skills to connect brands with audiences effectively. You understand the dynamics of the esports landscape and have a passion for youth culture and entertainment, which drives your enthusiasm for this role.
You possess excellent communication and negotiation skills — you can articulate the value of partnerships and engage with stakeholders at all levels. Your ability to build and maintain relationships is key to your success, as you will be working closely with both internal teams and external partners.
You are innovative and creative in your approach to partnership activations — you enjoy brainstorming new ideas and strategies that resonate with the gaming community. Your analytical mindset allows you to assess the effectiveness of partnerships and make data-driven decisions.
What you'll do
As the Partnerships Lead for Japan, you will be at the forefront of expanding Fnatic's presence in the region — your role involves connecting with brands and showcasing how Fnatic drives results through esports and community engagement. You will collaborate with local esports teams and creators to develop activations that engage fans and enhance brand visibility.
You will manage key relationships with existing partners while actively seeking new business opportunities — your goal is to expand Fnatic's roster of world-class partners and bring more household names into the fold. You will leverage proven case studies to demonstrate the impact of esports on brand engagement and revenue generation.
You will work closely with the content staff to create compelling narratives around partnerships — your ability to tell a story will help in showcasing the power of Fnatic's ecosystem to potential partners. You will also be responsible for taking classic rights-holder assets to market while pioneering new digital media properties.
