Formlabs is hiring a Field Service Technician to be the primary technical point of contact across the DACH region. You'll be responsible for the installation, training, and support of 3D printing systems. This role requires extensive travel and hands-on technical expertise.

You are a hands-on technician with a passion for 3D printing technology and a desire to empower customers. You have experience in equipment installation and user training, ensuring that clients can effectively utilize their 3D printing systems. You thrive in a role that requires travel and face-to-face interaction with customers, building strong relationships and providing exceptional service.
You possess strong communication skills, allowing you to conduct structured training sessions and demonstrations effectively. You are comfortable troubleshooting and performing critical repairs, ensuring that customers have a seamless experience with their equipment. Your proactive approach to customer service sets you apart, as you aim to inspire confidence in the technology you support.
What you'll do
As a Field Service Technician at Formlabs, you will travel extensively to customer sites, where you will unpack, install, commission, and calibrate new 3D printing systems. You will conduct on-site training sessions for both new and existing customers, teaching them how to operate the machinery, utilize software, and perform basic maintenance. Your role will also involve performing live product demonstrations to showcase the capabilities of the equipment and inspire confidence in its use.
You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of the customer's on-site experience, ensuring that they feel supported and empowered to use the technology effectively. Your technical expertise will be crucial in delivering comprehensive user training and performing critical repairs as needed. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions that enhance their experience with Formlabs products.
