Who you are
You are a scientist or engineer with experience in polymer development who is excited to break new ground in an industry thatβs moving at lightning speed. You have a strong background in materials science and are eager to innovate in 3D printing applications across various industries such as engineering, consumer products, manufacturing, automotive, and healthcare. Your hands-on experience allows you to conduct research and develop world-class materials from initial lab explorations to validation and commercialization. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with hardware and software engineers to ensure that new and existing materials print seamlessly and reliably on our hardware.
What you'll do
In this role, you will conduct research and develop innovative materials for 3D printing, pushing the boundaries of what can be achieved in the industry. You will design and perform experiments to validate new materials, ensuring they meet the high standards required for various applications. Collaborating with product management, hardware, and software teams, you will play a crucial role in the development of materials that enhance the capabilities of our 3D printing technology. Your work will directly impact how our customers, including industry leaders like Apple and NASA, utilize our products to bring their ideas to life.
What we offer
At Formlabs, we offer a competitive salary range of $90,000β$135,000 USD, along with equity in the form of RSUs.
