G2i Inc. is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to build and scale core trading infrastructure for decentralized markets. You'll work with Rust, Kafka, and Redis to develop high-performance trading systems. This position requires 5+ years of experience and offers competitive compensation.
Job Description
Who you are
You have 5+ years of backend engineering experience, particularly in building high-performance systems that can handle real-world loads. Your expertise in Rust allows you to develop robust and efficient backend services that are critical for trading infrastructure. You understand the intricacies of decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols and have experience working with distributed systems that prioritize speed and reliability.
Your background includes designing and implementing event-driven systems that support concurrency at scale. You are comfortable optimizing database schemas and access patterns to ensure data integrity and performance under heavy load. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with protocol engineers and system architects to deliver impactful solutions.
Desirable
Experience with messaging and streaming systems such as Kafka or Redis Streams is a plus. Familiarity with Ethereum and its ecosystem will help you contribute effectively to the team. You are a proactive problem solver who enjoys tackling complex challenges in a fast-paced environment.
