You are skilled at building relationships with corporate contacts and leveraging your scientific knowledge to support sales initiatives.
You are a proactive communicator who thrives in a collaborative environment, working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve sales objectives. Your ability to analyze market trends and customer needs allows you to identify opportunities for growth and develop effective sales tactics. You are results-driven and motivated by achieving sales goals while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
What you'll do
As a Sales Account Manager at GenScript, you will be responsible for driving sales efforts in the New York/New Jersey territory. You will implement sales and marketing strategies to promote GenScript's diverse range of biotechnology products and services. Your role will involve working closely with the Global Commercial Head to develop and grow your assigned sales territory, ensuring that sales targets are met or exceeded.
You will collaborate with the Field Application Scientist (FAS), Technical Account Manager (TAM), and Marketing (MKT) teams to build the GenScript brand and enhance sales performance. This includes conducting market research, identifying potential clients, and following up on leads to convert them into sales. You will spend a portion of your time managing quotes and maintaining account status, ensuring that all customer inquiries are addressed promptly and effectively.
Your responsibilities will also include preparing sales presentations, participating in trade shows, and representing GenScript at industry events to enhance brand visibility. You will be expected to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to adapt your sales strategies accordingly. Your success in this role will contribute to GenScript's mission of making humans and nature healthier through biotechnology.
