Overview

GitLab is hiring a CX Resource & Staffing Manager for the APJ region to lead strategic capacity planning and resource allocation for Professional Services and Education Services delivery teams. This role requires strong collaboration with regional delivery leadership and a focus on optimizing resource management.

Who you are

You have experience in resource management and staffing, ideally within a technology or services environment. You understand the importance of strategic capacity planning and have a knack for optimizing resource allocation to meet business needs. Your strong communication skills enable you to partner effectively with regional delivery leadership and other stakeholders.

You are comfortable working in a remote environment and have a proven track record of managing teams across different regions. You embrace technology and are familiar with tools that enhance collaboration and efficiency in resource management. You are proactive in identifying challenges and finding solutions that benefit both the team and the organization.

What you'll do

As the CX Resource & Staffing Manager, you will lead the strategic capacity planning for GitLab's Professional Services and Education Services teams across the Asia-Pacific and Japan regions. You will work closely with regional delivery leadership to ensure that resources are allocated effectively to meet project demands and client needs. Your role will involve analyzing current resource utilization and forecasting future needs to optimize team performance.

You will also be responsible for developing and implementing processes that enhance resource management efficiency. This includes collaborating with various teams to understand their staffing requirements and ensuring that the right talent is in place to deliver high-quality services. You will play a key role in driving initiatives that improve team collaboration and productivity.
