Who you are
You have a proven track record in sales management, particularly in the technology sector, with a focus on building and nurturing partner ecosystems. Your experience includes working with strategic partners such as hyperscalers and system integrators, enabling you to drive customer adoption and satisfaction effectively. You understand the nuances of the DevSecOps landscape and can articulate the value of AI-powered solutions to diverse stakeholders.
You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners. Your ability to analyze market trends and customer needs enables you to develop strategies that align with GitLab's mission of transforming software development. You are comfortable working in a remote environment and can manage your time effectively to meet targets and deadlines.
What you'll do
As a Senior Ecosystem Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to grow GitLab's partner ecosystem in Japan. You will identify and engage with potential strategic partners, including hyperscalers and solution providers, to enhance customer adoption of our DevSecOps platform. Your role will involve building strong relationships with partners, understanding their business models, and aligning them with GitLab's offerings to create mutual value.
You will collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure that partner initiatives are integrated into broader company strategies. This includes participating in joint marketing efforts, co-selling opportunities, and training sessions to equip partners with the knowledge they need to succeed. You will also track and report on partner performance metrics, providing insights to drive continuous improvement.
