You are a Solutions Engineer with a strong technical background and experience in engaging with clients to provide tailored solutions. You possess excellent communication skills in both Spanish and English, allowing you to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and clients across different regions. Your ability to understand client needs and translate them into actionable technical solutions is key to your success in this role.
You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with sales and partnership teams to shape and close business opportunities. Your experience in the payments industry or a related field gives you a solid foundation to understand the complexities of payment solutions and how they can benefit clients. You are proactive in seeking out opportunities to improve processes and enhance client satisfaction.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be the primary technical lead in engagements with prospective and existing merchants and partners, particularly in the UK and Spain. You will help qualify, shape, and support business opportunities by providing technical input and oversight on exciting projects. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include collaborating with sales teams to understand client requirements, conducting technical presentations, and ensuring that solutions meet client expectations.
You will also work on improving the technical aspects of our offerings, leveraging AI-powered solutions to enhance payment success and reduce fraud. Your insights will be crucial in helping clients make informed decisions based on our open banking connectivity to over 2,500 banks. You will play a vital role in driving the success of GoCardless by ensuring that our technical solutions align with client needs and industry standards.
