Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience and at least 7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or management consulting, particularly in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries. Your experience includes working cross-functionally with engineering, product management, and legal teams, engaging with stakeholders from individual contributors to executives. You have a proven track record in managing agreements or partnerships, showcasing your ability to lead complex, first-of-their-kind product partnerships in a fast-paced environment.
Your expertise extends to the XR (VR/AR/MR) space, with a strong understanding of display, optics, silicon, or other key component technologies essential for developing high-quality hardware. You possess exceptional analytical, communication, and presentation skills, particularly regarding technical, contractual, and financial issues. You thrive in collaborative environments and are adept at navigating the complexities of partnership development.
What you'll do
In this role, you will serve as a relationship manager for existing XR partnerships, ensuring the realization of agreement value while evolving long-term strategies to adapt to the rapidly changing hardware ecosystem. You will collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Program Management, Strategy and Operations, Legal, and other internal stakeholders to maximize investment across the XR platform. Your business acumen and extensive product knowledge will be crucial as you interact with partners, helping them leverage Google's newest products to drive growth.
You will lead initiatives to explore new opportunities with Google's partners, advocating internally on their behalf and ensuring that their needs are met. Your ability to operate flexibly in a constantly evolving environment will be key to your success in this role. You will also be responsible for analyzing partnership performance and making data-driven recommendations to enhance collaboration and outcomes.
