Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 6 years of experience in cloud native architecture within a customer-facing or support role. Your background includes cloud engineering, on-premise engineering, and expertise in virtualization or containerization platforms. You excel at engaging with technical stakeholders and presenting complex solutions to executive leaders, ensuring that your communication is clear and impactful.
Your programming skills are complemented by your experience in debugging, systems design, and prototyping. You have a knack for conducting customer workshops and demos, showcasing your ability to translate technical concepts into actionable insights for clients. You are also familiar with security concepts such as encryption, identity management, and access control, which are crucial in today's cloud environments.
Desirable
You have experience selling technical solutions in areas like Infrastructure Modernization, Application Modernization, and Data Management. Your ability to drive the entire sales cycle, from defining delivery plans to transitioning them for execution, sets you apart. You are adept at building long-term technical strategies that help uncover new workloads with customers, and you have a proven track record of migrating applications and services to cloud platforms.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be part of the Google Cloud Platform team, helping public sector clients transform their operations through cloud technology. You will lead technical engagements during the solution phase, ensuring that customer needs are met with tailored solutions. Your responsibilities will include facilitating post-sales transitions, supporting pricing activities, and maintaining awareness of progress against delivery plans.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams during ramp-up, delivery, migration, or implementation phases, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed. Your role will require you to stay updated on the latest cloud technologies and trends, allowing you to provide the best possible guidance to your clients.
