Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 10 years of experience in cloud-native architecture within a customer-facing or support role. Your background includes application development and integration, and you possess expertise in search systems, including retrieval, ranking, and search quality tuning. You are comfortable presenting to technical stakeholders and executive leaders, showcasing your ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.

Your coding skills are strong in Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, or Java, which you use to demo, prototype, or workshop integration patterns with customers. You have experience architecting solutions that integrate AI models using agents with enterprise data sources, employing patterns like Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Text-to-SQL, and semantic search. You are familiar with developing agents using frameworks such as langgraph, semantic kernel, or Google AI Agent Development Kit (ADK).

You have a solid understanding of iPaaS, API Gateways, or Enterprise Service Buses (ESBs) in a cloud environment. Your knowledge extends to functional evaluation metrics used to assess model quality and agent quality, as well as observability constructs including distributed tracing, logging, and audit logging for AI applications. You understand integration patterns using OpenAPI and Model Context Protocol (MCP) to connect AI agents with business systems and API Gateways.

What you'll do

In this role, you will work closely with Google Cloud products to demonstrate and prototype integrations in customer and partner environments. You will document, prioritize, and drive the resolution of customer feature requests and issues within product and engineering management systems. Your responsibilities will include traveling to customer sites, conferences, and other related events as required, acting as a public advocate for Google Cloud.

You will leverage your extensive experience to guide customers through the integration of AI solutions, ensuring they understand the value and capabilities of Google Cloud technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product offerings and address customer needs effectively. Your role will also involve mentoring junior team members and contributing to the overall growth of the Cloud AI team.
