Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 10 years of experience in quota-carrying cloud or software sales or consultative account management at a B2B software company. Your expertise includes managing the full sales cycle, from pipeline management to forecasting and reporting, as well as handling commercial negotiations and agreements. You excel at engaging and building relationships with a wide range of internal teams and customer stakeholders, and you have experience in leadership roles, including people management, team leadership, mentorship, and coaching.
You have a proven track record of driving growth in cloud technologies, particularly in the Healthcare, Life Sciences, and Chemicals industries. Your experience includes supporting teams to expand existing accounts, secure new customers, and accelerate consumption business. You are skilled at qualifying leads and presenting tailored value propositions that align with customer business opportunities, while also showcasing current technology trends and cloud provider differentiators.
Your background includes performance management and business cycle experience, where you have coached high-performing teams and ensured delivery against goals. You are adept at organizational development and transformation, fostering consultative selling behaviors, and aligning with sales leadership initiatives to support multi-year account strategies.
What you'll do
In this role, you will build executive relationships with customers and influence their long-term direction by understanding their technology footprint, strategy, growth plans, business drivers, and engaged landscape. You will leverage your practical expertise in cloud, data, and AI technologies to lead conversations on Google Cloud's unique value proposition, addressing customer business issues and opportunities. Your responsibilities will include managing the sales team, driving sales strategies, and ensuring that your team meets its targets while fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
You will also be responsible for developing and executing account strategies that align with customer needs and Google Cloud's offerings. This includes identifying opportunities for growth, conducting market analysis, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions. You will mentor and coach your team members, helping them to develop their skills and achieve their professional goals. Your role will be pivotal in shaping the future of Google Cloud's presence in the DACH region, particularly within the Healthcare, Life Sciences, and Chemicals sectors.
