Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 10 years of experience in quota-carrying cloud or software sales, or consultative account management at a B2B software company. Your background includes engaging and building relationships with internal teams and customer stakeholders, showcasing your ability to prospect and build customer relationships from scratch.
You are skilled in managing the full business cycle, including pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting, as well as handling commercial negotiations and agreements. Your experience includes consultative selling to executives, where you ask insightful, visionary questions and present future-forward proposals. You have a knack for building multi-year account strategies and plans, and you excel at leading cross-functional teams and partners in project implementation and negotiation.
You understand the value proposition of cloud, data, and AI technologies against customersβ strategic business opportunities and challenges. You are adept at showcasing current technology trends and Cloud differentiators, and you have experience with complex agreement structuring and negotiating sophisticated commercial agreements, supporting multi-year engagements. Your understanding of business and finance complements your sales expertise.
What you'll do
In this role, you will mobilize internal experts and external partners at the right time to drive consumption and deliver a seamless customer experience. You will lead prospecting and acquisition of new logos, creating and building customer relationships from scratch, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor on their long-term technology and business decisions. Your responsibilities will include managing the full business cycle, from pipeline management to forecasting and reporting, ensuring that you meet and exceed sales targets.
You will engage with customer stakeholders to understand their needs and challenges, leveraging your expertise in cloud technologies to present tailored solutions. You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure that customer requirements are met and that the implementation of solutions is seamless. Your role will also involve negotiating complex agreements and managing the relationship throughout the engagement lifecycle, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
