Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 7 years of experience in quota-carrying cloud or software sales, or account management at a B2B software company. Your background includes experience prospecting and building customer relationships from scratch, demonstrating your ability to drive business growth effectively.

You possess a strong understanding of Cloud Solutions, Infrastructure Software, Databases, Analytic Tools, or Applications Software, particularly in the context of selling to Startups or Digital Native organizations. You are skilled at aligning solutions to drive business outcomes and have experience working with cross-functional teams and partners in implementations and negotiations.

Your experience includes commercial and legal negotiations, collaborating with Procurement, Legal, and Business teams. You have a proven track record of working with Customer Engineers and customers' technical leads to inventory software estates, define migration plans, and build migration business cases. Cultivating C-level relationships and collaborating with executives is second nature to you, and you are passionate about building Greenfield territories.

You have successfully acquired new logos and secured foundational workloads to accelerate consumption business, showcasing your ability to drive significant business impact. Your expertise in managing business cycles, presenting to C-level executives, and negotiating terms is well-established, making you a valuable asset to any team.

What you'll do

In this role, you will develop business growth opportunities by working cross-functionally with multiple teams and Google partners to maximize business impact within startup customers. Your responsibilities will include owning operational excellence, forecasting accurately, and achieving goals by leading customers through the entire business cycle.

You will be instrumental in building and nurturing relationships with startup customers, ensuring they see the benefits of Google Cloud technology come to life. Your role will involve collaborating closely with technical teams to ensure successful implementations and customer satisfaction. You will also be expected to stay updated on industry trends and competitive landscape to effectively position Google Cloud solutions.
