Who you are
You have 7 years of experience in quota-carrying cloud or software sales, ideally within a B2B environment — you've successfully managed the full business cycle, from pipeline management to forecasting and reporting. Your ability to engage and build relationships with internal teams and customer stakeholders sets you apart, as does your experience in managing commercial negotiations and agreements.
Your consultative selling skills shine when interacting with executives — you ask insightful questions and present visionary proposals that align with customers' strategic business opportunities. You have a knack for qualifying leads and showcasing the value proposition of cloud, data, and AI technologies, ensuring that you address customers' challenges effectively.
You excel in expanding existing accounts and securing new customers, demonstrating your ability to accelerate consumption business. Your experience with complex agreement structuring and negotiating sophisticated commercial agreements has equipped you to support multi-year engagements successfully.
Your business and financial acumen is strong — you understand profit and loss management and can accurately forecast outcomes. You have a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and partners in project implementation and negotiation, ensuring seamless customer experiences.
What you'll do
In this role, you will manage complex, multi-year contracts and formulate persuasive proposals that illustrate clear return on investment through customer business cases and comprehensive deployment plans. You will mobilize internal experts from Customer Engineering, Partner, and Post-Sales teams at the right time to drive consumption and deliver a seamless customer experience.
You will be responsible for engaging with clients to understand their needs and challenges, crafting tailored solutions that leverage Google Cloud's capabilities. Your role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure that the proposed solutions align with both customer expectations and Google Cloud's strategic goals.
You will also track and analyze sales metrics to refine your approach and improve overall performance. By staying informed about current technology trends and Google Cloud differentiators, you will effectively communicate the benefits of our solutions to potential clients.
Your responsibilities will include leading negotiations, managing customer relationships, and ensuring that all agreements are structured to maximize value for both Google and the client. You will play a crucial role in driving growth and expanding our market presence in the cloud sector.
