Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 10 years of experience in quota-carrying cloud or software sales, or consultative account management at a B2B software company. Your ability to engage and build relationships with a wide range of internal teams and customer stakeholders sets you apart. You are skilled in managing the full sales cycle, including pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting, and you have a proven track record in managing commercial negotiations and agreements.
You excel in consultative selling to executives, asking insightful questions, and presenting future-forward proposals. Your experience includes expanding existing accounts, securing new customers, and accelerating the consumption business. You are adept at structuring complex agreements, negotiating commercial terms, and supporting multi-year engagements. Leading cross-functional teams and partners in project implementation and negotiation is second nature to you.
You possess the ability to qualify leads and present the value proposition of cloud, data, and AI technologies against customers' strategic business opportunities and challenges. Your business and financial acumen, including profit and loss management and accurate forecasting, allows you to demonstrate clear return on investment through customer business cases and comprehensive deployment plans.
What you'll do
In this role, you will manage complex, multi-year agreements and formulate persuasive proposals that illustrate clear return on investment. You will mobilize internal experts, such as customer engineering and post-sales teams, at the right time to drive consumption and deliver a seamless customer experience. Your responsibilities will include engaging with customers to understand their needs and challenges, and leveraging Google Cloud's technology to provide tailored solutions that meet their business objectives.
You will collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure that customer requirements are met and that projects are delivered on time and within scope. Your role will involve regular communication with stakeholders to provide updates on project status and to address any concerns that may arise. You will also be responsible for tracking sales metrics and reporting on performance against targets, ensuring that you are consistently meeting or exceeding your sales goals.
