Job Description

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related technical field, along with 10 years of experience in designing and optimizing data centers, particularly focusing on machine learning systems. Your expertise includes cost and performance modeling for data center infrastructure, and you have a strong background in power, networking, storage, and cooling systems. You are familiar with GPU and TPU architectures, AI system integration, and performance techniques, which are essential for this role.

You may also hold a Master's degree in Engineering or Business, or possess a Professional Engineering (PE) license. Your experience extends to estimating, electrical design, operation, and commissioning of substations and switchgear, as well as emergency power systems and control systems. You have worked with data center equipment and environments, understanding the startup and commissioning processes involved.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the design and optimization of data centers, ensuring they meet the high-performance standards required for machine learning applications. You will evaluate emerging technologies and influence industry trends to align data centers with advancements in machine learning. Your responsibilities will include partnering with internal teams and hardware vendors to troubleshoot performance issues, influence product roadmaps, and integrate AI solutions into the infrastructure. You will also implement solutions to accelerate project timelines and reduce infrastructure costs while maintaining high performance standards.
