Who you are

You have extensive experience in the design and construction of critical facilities, particularly data centers, and understand the complexities involved in delivering high-quality infrastructure. Your background includes leading projects as an Owner's Representative, ensuring that all aspects of design and construction align with operational requirements and stakeholder expectations.

You possess strong collaboration skills, enabling you to work effectively with cross-discipline partners, including civil, structural, and landscape architects, as well as internal teams such as Planning and Development and Construction Management. Your ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both internal and external stakeholders is essential for the success of your projects.

You are detail-oriented and have a strong understanding of the technical requirements for data center design, including mechanical cooling and power distribution. Your expertise allows you to make informed decisions that maximize efficiency and reliability in the compute infrastructure.

You thrive in fast-paced environments and are comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously. Your leadership style encourages teamwork and fosters a culture of safety and quality throughout the design and construction process.

Desirable

Experience with advanced design software and tools, such as AutoCAD, is a plus. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards for data center construction will enhance your ability to navigate complex project landscapes.

What you'll do

As the Design Project Lead, you will oversee the design and construction administration of data centers, ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. You will lead the collaboration between various disciplines, guiding the design development process and ensuring that all stakeholder needs are met.

You will be responsible for coordinating with engineers of record and general contractors, facilitating communication and collaboration to address any challenges that arise during the construction phase. Your role will involve regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.

You will also play a key role in developing project schedules and budgets, working closely with the Construction Management team to track progress and make necessary adjustments. Your ability to analyze project data and metrics will help inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement in project delivery.

In addition, you will mentor junior team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their roles. Your leadership will contribute to building a strong, cohesive team that is committed to delivering exceptional results.
