Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 6 years of experience in cloud native architecture within a customer-facing or support role. Your expertise includes cloud engineering, on-premise engineering, virtualization, and containerization platforms, allowing you to effectively translate customer objectives into cloud solutions such as IaaS and SaaS across multiple domains.

You are skilled in engaging with technical stakeholders and executive leaders, presenting complex solutions in an understandable manner. Your experience in programming languages, debugging, systems design, prototyping, and conducting customer workshops has equipped you to handle diverse technical challenges. You also have a strong background in infrastructure and application modernization, data management, and data analytics, which are crucial for driving customer success.

Desirable

Experience with Cloud AI, security concepts, networking, and migrations is preferred. You have a proven track record of building long-term technical strategies to uncover new workloads with customers and have successfully migrated applications and services to cloud platforms. Your understanding of security concepts such as encryption, identity management, and access control enhances your ability to deliver secure solutions.

What you'll do

In this role, you will facilitate the technical engagement during the solution phase, ensuring that customer needs are met with tailored cloud solutions. You will support pricing activities and transition the final delivery plan to implementation teams, maintaining awareness of progress against the delivery plan. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams during ramp, delivery, migration, or implementation phases to ensure a seamless customer experience.

You will drive the entire business cycle, from initial engagement to post-sales support, ensuring that customers are satisfied with their cloud solutions. Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders will be key to your success in this position. You will also be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with clients, helping them maximize the value of their investment in Google Cloud products.
