Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 2 years of experience in program or project management. Your background includes experience with supply or demand planning, such as demand forecasting and inventory management, as well as familiarity with network infrastructure or data centers. You possess excellent analytical skills and a keen attention to detail, ensuring that you take ownership of the end-to-end project lifecycle. You understand that a problem isnβt truly solved until itβs resolved for all stakeholders involved, and you are committed to delivering results that create opportunities for everyone.
You have a proven track record of managing cross-functional or cross-team projects, demonstrating your ability to coordinate efforts across various departments. Your experience includes managing technical programs with hardware teams, which equips you with the skills necessary to navigate complex project requirements. You are detail-oriented and have a firm sense of accountability, ensuring that all aspects of your projects are executed flawlessly.
What you'll do
As a Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. Your role involves working closely with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You will coordinate with senior-level planners to conduct thorough feasibility analyses of demand ramps against supply chain capabilities, highlighting risks and constraints early in the process. Your responsibilities will include driving necessary mitigation actions, including escalations, and making prioritization and allocation decisions with procurement and other teams to minimize impacts on Google's capacity delivery.
You will be responsible for ensuring that projects span across offices, time zones, and hemispheres, requiring you to maintain clear communication and keep all players updated on progress and deadlines. Your analytical skills will be crucial in assessing project performance and making data-driven decisions that align with Google's strategic goals. You will also be expected to foster collaboration among diverse teams, ensuring that everyone is aligned and working towards common objectives.
