Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. With 10 years of experience in domestic and international environments managing vendors, you understand the intricacies of logistics operations. Your background includes 10 years in a customer or client-facing role, supporting logistical operations, and 7 years of experience managing operations and leading cross-regional teams. You are comfortable with travel, as this role may require up to 25% travel. A Master's degree in Logistics or Business Administration is preferred, along with a certification in CSCMP. You have a strong ability to use data analysis to drive decision-making and have extensive experience managing vendor and outsourced providers.
What you'll do
As a Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You will work with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres, requiring you to coordinate various players and keep them updated on progress and deadlines. You will serve as the primary logistics partner to internal Google stakeholders, aligning on priorities and scaling operations to meet shared business goals. Additionally, you will identify and lead initiatives to optimize the end-to-end logistics network, driving process improvements that enhance efficiency, reduce cycle times, and improve service delivery across the region.
