Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 7 years of experience in a customer or client-facing role supporting logistics operations. Your background includes 7 years of experience analyzing data and generating business insights, as well as developing operational process solutions. You have a proven track record of working with cross-functional teams to drive changes and improvements. Your problem-solving skills are excellent, allowing you to apply structured thinking and logic to your work, ensuring that challenges are effectively addressed. You also have experience in data center equipment environments or computer component manufacturing, which gives you a unique perspective in this role.

You possess strong relationship-building skills, having built connections with stakeholders or clients throughout your career. Your experience using data analysis to drive decision-making is a key asset, and you are familiar with SQL and analytics tools. Preferred qualifications include an MBA or Master's degree in a related field, as well as certifications in Operations Six Sigma or other relevant operations coursework. You are proactive in recognizing improvement opportunities and turning them into documented business cases.

What you'll do

As a Logistics Operations Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. Your role involves managing relationships with multiple internal customers at data centers, coordinating with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You will be responsible for recognizing improvement opportunities to the cost or quality of services provided and proactively presenting business cases for approval. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres, requiring you to keep all players updated on progress and deadlines. You will also oversee capital improvement projects within your locations, ensuring that operational processes are optimized and aligned with business goals.
