Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 7 years of experience in a customer or client-facing role supporting logistics operations. Your background includes 7 years of experience analyzing data and generating business insights, as well as developing operational process solutions. You excel at working with cross-functional teams to drive changes and improvements in logistics operations.

You possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to apply structured thinking and logic to your work. You understand that a problem isn’t truly solved until it’s resolved for all stakeholders involved. Your experience in data center equipment environments or computer component manufacturing gives you a unique perspective in this role. Additionally, you hold an MBA or Master's degree in a related field and have a certification in Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP).

What you'll do

As a Senior Logistics Operations Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You will work closely with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres, requiring you to coordinate various players and keep them updated on progress and deadlines.

You will manage relationships with multiple internal customers at data centers and recognize improvement opportunities to enhance the cost or quality of services provided. Your proactive approach will involve turning improvement thoughts into documented business cases, presenting these cases to peers and management for approval, and providing ongoing project management to ensure successful implementation.
