Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 10 years of experience in cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role. Your background includes deployment planning, orchestration, and change management, and you are skilled in programming languages, debugging, and systems design. You excel at engaging with technical stakeholders and executive leaders, presenting complex ideas clearly and effectively.

Your preferred qualifications include experience in infrastructure modernization, application modernization, data management, data analytics, cloud AI, networking, migrations, or security. You are proficient in object-oriented programming languages such as Python and Java, and you use your technical skills to remove blockers and accelerate customer deployment. You have a proven track record of working with product and capacity teams to resolve technical and capacity blockers, ensuring smooth project execution.

What you'll do

As an Outcome Customer Engineer, you will play a key role in understanding customer needs and shaping the future of their cloud solutions. You will drive and track the progress of initial and ongoing workloads, moving customers from agreement to consumption as quickly as possible. Your responsibilities will include identifying expansion opportunities for new workloads within accounts during project execution and driving sustainable product usage to help customers realize ongoing value and secure future contract renewals.

You will collaborate closely with customers to understand their unique challenges and provide tailored solutions that leverage Google Cloud products. Your role will involve presenting to technical stakeholders, influencing decision-making, and ensuring that customers are fully equipped to utilize the cloud technology effectively. You will also be responsible for tracking customer satisfaction and success metrics, ensuring that the solutions provided meet their business objectives.
