Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field, along with 8 years of experience in power converter design, including DC/DC converter design and board bring-up. Your technical leadership experience spans at least 5 years, showcasing your ability to guide teams through complex projects. You possess a deep understanding of data center power delivery systems and have a PhD in a relevant field, which is preferred but not mandatory. Your knowledge of power converter modeling and simulation, as well as power electronics fundamentals, positions you as a key player in the development of cutting-edge technologies.
You thrive in collaborative environments, engaging with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project rollouts and validations. Your analytical skills allow you to effectively organize and interpret data, driving informed decisions in the design process. You are passionate about leading projects that involve new technologies and innovative applications, and you are adept at troubleshooting complex system-level power issues.
What you'll do
As a Power Architect at Google, you will design and build the hardware and software systems that power Google's extensive services. Your role will involve developing systems from the lowest levels of circuit design to large-scale system design, ensuring that these systems are ready for high-volume manufacturing.
