Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related technical field, along with 5 years of experience in direct current power distribution design. Your expertise includes power converter design, specifically in AC/DC, DC/DC, and DC/AC converters, and you have a strong understanding of power electronics and various power conversion designs for data center power delivery.
You are familiar with data center power system design, including microgrids, and have experience in design or validation with power budgeting and sizing for AI/ML applications. Your technical leadership skills allow you to troubleshoot complex system-level power delivery issues effectively, and you are comfortable communicating recommendations to senior-level executives.
Desirable
A Master's degree or PhD in Power Electronics, Power Systems, or a related field is preferred. Experience in cutting-edge technologies and a passion for optimizing efficiencies in data center environments will set you apart.
What you'll do
In this role, you will partner with power industry leaders to evaluate and adopt compelling technologies for future data center designs. You will engage cross-functionally to ensure successful roll-out, testing, and complete validation of power systems. Your responsibilities will include providing technical leadership and direction while troubleshooting complex power delivery issues, ensuring that our data centers operate efficiently and sustainably.
You will collaborate with a team of engineers to develop innovative solutions that enhance the performance of our data centers. Your role will involve generating ideas and communicating them effectively to drive implementation alongside facilities technicians. You will also be responsible for optimizing power systems to meet the demands of advanced technologies, including AI and machine learning.
