Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field, along with a minimum of 6 years of experience in a power converter design technical environment. Your expertise includes AC/DC, DC/DC, or DC/AC converter design specifically for data center power delivery systems. With at least 3 years in a technical leadership role, you excel in managing projects and guiding teams. A PhD in a relevant field is preferred, showcasing your deep understanding of power converter design, including AC/DC rectifiers, solar inverters, and UPS systems. You possess strong knowledge of power converter modeling and simulation, and your problem-solving skills are complemented by a keen attention to detail. Excellent communication skills enable you to work effectively with cross-functional project teams, ensuring successful collaboration.
What you'll do
As a key member of the AI and Infrastructure team at Google, you will manage projects that involve innovative power solutions for data center computing applications. Your role will require you to lead projects that incorporate new technologies and evaluate their adoption in collaboration with industry leaders. You will engage cross-functionally to ensure the successful rollout, testing, and validation of power systems. Your technical leadership will be crucial in troubleshooting system-level power delivery issues, and you will monitor vendor performance while evaluating new technologies. You will play a significant role in redefining whatβs possible in power infrastructure, contributing to one of the world's fastest-growing computing environments.
