Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience and at least 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role. Your background includes experience with cloud development, on-premise development, virtualization, or containerization platforms. You excel in leading technical conversations, demos, prototyping, or workshops with customers, and have a strong track record in leadership roles such as people management, team lead, mentorship, or coaching. Your experience working with Public Sector clients and stakeholders sets you apart, as you understand their unique needs and challenges.
You are familiar with software lifecycles and have experience building tools and developing software for scalable, distributed systems, including data platforms and AI/ML infrastructure. Your previous roles may have included being a pre-business manager or technical customer-facing people manager within a professional services or business engineering team. You have successfully managed teams through pre-business processes and career development, including account mapping, quota setting, and performance management.
What you'll do
In this role, you will facilitate the onboarding of educational institutions, government agencies, and other businesses to Google Cloud products. You will determine alignment, coverage, and staffing needs while balancing technical leadership with operational excellence. Leading workload and opportunity review meetings, you will provide insights into achieving technical agreements and migration strategies, working directly with customers, partners, and prospects. You will work cross-functionally across Google, partners, and your team to resolve technical roadblocks and ensure successful implementation of cloud solutions.
