Job Description

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience and at least 6 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role. You are skilled in engaging with technical stakeholders and presenting complex solutions to executive leaders. Your background includes programming languages, debugging, systems design, and conducting customer workshops. You have experience with cloud development, on-premise development, virtualization, and containerization platforms, which allows you to understand the technical needs of your clients.

You are adept at building long-term technical strategies to uncover new workloads with customers and have a proven track record of migrating applications and services to cloud platforms. Your knowledge of security concepts, including encryption, identity management, and access control, enables you to address critical concerns in cloud implementations. You are comfortable driving the entire business cycle, from defining delivery plans to transitioning them for execution.

What you'll do

In this role, you will facilitate the technical engagement during the solution phase and support the post-sales transition by assisting with pricing activities and ensuring the final delivery plan is executed effectively. You will maintain awareness of progress against the delivery plan and provide support to cross-functional teams during ramp-up, delivery, migration, or implementation phases. Your ability to listen to customer needs and deliver tailored solutions will be key to your success.

You will collaborate closely with sales teams to promote technical solutions in areas such as infrastructure modernization, application modernization, data management, data analytics, cloud AI, networking, migrations, and security. Your role will involve problem-solving key technical issues for customers and ensuring that their experience with Google Cloud products is productive and collaborative.
