Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience. With 5 years of experience troubleshooting and advocating for customers' needs, you excel at triaging technical issues across hardware, software, applications, and processes. Your experience includes reading code in general-purpose coding languages such as Java, C, C++, Python, Shell, Go, and JavaScript, as well as system design. You have a strong background in technical projects, including design, development, maintenance, and driving long-term improvements.

You are comfortable interacting with customers and users, working closely with technical stakeholders or partners. Your experience extends to developing back-end applications or shell scripts, showcasing your ability to handle complex technical challenges. You are passionate about technology and eager to help customers leverage the power of Google Cloud Platform.

Desirable

Experience with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning data center hardware platforms and related technologies is a plus. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with cross-functional teams to solve problems and improve internal tools, software, or automations that assist with speedy troubleshooting and issue management.

What you'll do

As a Technical Solutions Engineer, you will play a key role in understanding the needs of customers and shaping how businesses of all sizes use technology to connect with their customers and employees. You will work with cross-functional stakeholders and partner teams across Google Server Operations and Engineering to address issues and identify underlying root causes that drive negative business outcomes. Your responsibilities will include supporting key Machine Learning deployments and participating in a rotating weekend on-call shift.

You will be instrumental in improving internal tools and processes, ensuring that troubleshooting and issue management are efficient and effective. Your role will involve advocating for customer needs, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with various teams to drive improvements in service delivery. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative solutions that enhance customer experiences and operational efficiency.
