You have the ability to manage your time effectively and are comfortable working flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. You understand the importance of maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and you are committed to following safety protocols while handling products.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that Gopuff meets its operational goals. You will be responsible for picking and packing items for dispatch to customers, ensuring that orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. You will also receive and unpack pallets of products from vendors, verifying that the physical inventory matches purchase orders and resolving any discrepancies.
In addition to managing inventory and re-shelving canceled orders, you will maintain a clean and organized sales floor and overall facility. You will handle waste and spoilage through strict compliance with FIFO practices, ensuring that products are rotated properly. Your role will also involve contacting customers regarding substituted or out-of-stock items, providing excellent customer service throughout the process.
You will utilize various equipment, such as carts, pallet jacks, and dollies, to move products safely and efficiently. Your ability to stand, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, and walk during shifts will be essential to your success in this role. You may also work in freezer locations periodically, demonstrating your adaptability and willingness to take on diverse tasks.
