You are physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting products as needed throughout your shifts. You are comfortable using basic web-based software applications, which helps you manage tasks efficiently.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play a crucial role in the operations team. Your primary responsibilities will include picking and packing items for dispatch to customers, ensuring that all products are handled safely and organized effectively. You will receive and unpack pallets of products from vendors, verifying that the physical inventory matches the purchase orders and resolving any discrepancies. Managing inventory and re-shelving canceled orders will be part of your daily tasks, along with maintaining a clean and organized sales floor and facility. You will also be responsible for managing waste and spoilage through strict compliance with FIFO practices. Your role will require you to contact customers regarding substituted or out-of-stock items, ensuring excellent customer service. You will handle, scan, and move products using various equipment, including carts and pallet jacks, while adhering to safety protocols. Periodically, you may work in freezer locations and will need to be capable of walking several flights of steps throughout the day.
